The scientific innovation of the article lies in scrutinizing the theoretical principles of a nationally oriented methodology designed to cultivate the mathematical competence of Chinese students using linguistic tools. Methodological approaches are justified by considering the primary distinctions between the Chinese and Ukrainian educational systems. Practical test results of this methodology in Ukrainian higher education institutions are presented, showcasing its efficacy in fostering mathematical competence among Chinese students. The author&#8217;s nationally oriented methodology for developing mathematical competence is outlined, featuring examples of methodological techniques, tools, and forms.
