FOR BELIEF<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract. <\/strong>Gustav Fechner\u2019s philosophy deals with nature of God, immortality and the mind-body problem. He has elaborated a religious panpsychist worldview called the \u201cDaylight view\u201c. Fechner attempts to draw a line of demarcation between knowledge and faith, indicating that any belief needs arguments. He offers three different motives and grounds for belief: traditional, theoretical, and practical. The third one is the most justifi ed. It reminds us William James\u2019 Pragmatism. Fechner\u2019s system comprises a variety of facts of science and principles of religion. To argument this model the philosophicalhistoric conceptions inevitably choose between determinism \u2013 from natural laws, theological principles or fatalistic causes, and indeterminism (free will). The indeterministic approach in philosophy of history puts as general the problem of freedom and free will and the dependence with causality and necessity. So, the decision of the problem of freedom depends on the defi nition of causality and necessity. The common element in conceptions of Kant and Hegel is the conviction that the freedom has the possibility to overcome the natural laws. As a part of a natural word, the person is subordinate of natural laws, but as an intelligible being he is free. Freedom is something different from the arbitrary and from the eventuality. predestination, salvation<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<p>GRACE AND FREEDOM OF THE WILL IN \u201ePRAEDESTINATUS\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The treatise Praedestinatus probably descends from the area of today&#8217;s north Italy and it is written in the 5th century \u2013 in the heat of the debate about the grace and the freedom of will. Its author remains unknown. The heading is related to the examined heresy of the predestinators which preaches unconditional predestination for death or for life of all people and is originating in some false views of Augustin of Hippo (\u2020 430). The treatise is ideologically charged mainly against the doctrine of predestination. It shows the inconsistency of the predestination with the doctrine of God&#8217;s goodness, with the postulate of the freedom of the human will, with the God&#8217;s wish for salvation of all people and with the possibility of man even after the original sin to wish the good. If there was a predestination the man wouldn&#8217;t be morally responsible for his deeds and God would be guilty for that He hasn&#8217;t chosen all people for salvation. This is exactly the basic thought of the author of Praedestinatus which is included in the orthodox teaching of the synergy between God and the man.
