It was an alternative in respect to Marxist as well as liberal&nbsp;paradigms and it is now one of the most in\ufb02 uential views to describe the social&nbsp;processes from non-conformist stances. Meanwhile, there was no attention&nbsp;drawn to the fact that Kastoriadis`s theory of social imaginary and processes of&nbsp;its institualization is based on the radically reconsidered linguistic and semiotic&nbsp;paradigms. A social institualization of imaginary is based on the fundamental&nbsp;relation between signi\ufb01 er and signi\ufb01 ed. The different manifestations of this relation&nbsp;determine processes of social development. Semiotic mechanisms have created&nbsp;continuity between past and future. These mechanisms also shaped the social space&nbsp;on institutional way. Describing these processes, Kastoriadis has created a new&nbsp;theory of sign \u2013 where the relations between the signi\ufb01 er and the signi\ufb01 ed are&nbsp;not predetermined, static, and synchronic (as in the Saussurian paradigm), but&nbsp;dynamic, diachronic, and creative. As it was noticed by Kastoriadis \u2013 \u201eLanguage,&nbsp;in its relation to signi\ufb01 cations, shows us how instituting society is constantly at work&nbsp;and also, in this particular case, how this work, which exists only as instituted, does&nbsp;not hamper the continued instituting activity of society\u2026 the other fundamental&nbsp;function of language \u2013 assuring every society\u2019s access to its own past\u201c.&nbsp;Thus, the signi\ufb01 cation in its both aspects \u2013 linguistic and semantic \u2013 is not a&nbsp;representation, but more creation ex nihilo (\u201eThe imaginary does not come from&nbsp;the image in the mirror or from the gaze of the other. Instead, the \u2018mirror\u2019 itself&nbsp;and its possibility, and the other as mirror, are the works of the imaginary, which&nbsp;is creation ex nihilo\u201c.). Correspondingly, the signi\ufb01 cation is considered not as a&nbsp;result, but as an endless and limitless process \u2013 magma: \u201cWhat is a signi\ufb01 cation?&nbsp;We can describe it only as an inde\ufb01 nite skein of interminable referrals to something&nbsp;other than (than what would appear to be stated directly). These other things can&nbsp;be both signi\ufb01 cations and non-signi\ufb01 cations &#8211; that to which signi\ufb01 cations relate&nbsp;or refer.&nbsp;But the lexicon of signi\ufb01 cations is always open; for the full signi\ufb01 cation of&nbsp;a word is everything that can be socially stated, thought, represented or done&nbsp;on the basis of this word. In other words, it can never be assigned determined&nbsp;limits\u2026 A magma is that from which one can extract (or in which one can&nbsp;construct) an inde\ufb01 nite number of ensemblist organizations but which can never&nbsp;be reconstituted (ideally) by a(\ufb01 nite or in\ufb01 nite) ensemblist composition of these&nbsp;organizations\u201d.&nbsp;The semiotic theory of Kastoriadis still remains bereft of linguistic&nbsp;elaboration. Such ideas are more common and acceptable in poetics, and the&nbsp;closest parallels to them were found in the theoretical works of the prominent&nbsp;Russian poet Osip Mandelshtam. However, the recent linguistic development has&nbsp;made it obvious that the everyday language activity presupposed complicated&nbsp;creative mechanisms of signi\ufb01 cations, and Kastoriadis\u2019s
