Mutuality)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract. <\/strong>The text examines in brief the Bulgarian-Polish relations to point out that they, due to the important similarities in the destinies of the two Slav peoples, always has been good. The author presents at this background a little known case of Polish-Bulgarian synergy. It concerns a French booklet, published in 1868 by the lay leader of the Bulgarian Church Movement under the title <i>\u201eThe Bulgarian Question\u201c. <\/i>The booklet, created in collaboration with a Polish \u00e9migr\u00e9, was a kind of a manifesto through which the Autocephalous Bulgarian Church was re-established under the name of <i>\u201eExarchate\u201c. <\/i>Besides this purely historical and purely Bulgarian significance this text has another very important dimension \u2013 which is up-to-date and goes far beyond Bulgaria. It consists in the proclamation of the slogan <i>\u201eVariety in unity, liberty in order\u201c, <\/i>the first part of which is identical with the motto of the EU. the Gergana opera by Maestro Georgi Atanasov. Stimulated by the success they start preparing Il trovatore. After wading through many difficulties they cope with this musical composition, too. The Barber of Seville, La traviata, Rigoletto come next \u2013 altogether 12 titles (18 productions) of 9 composers with over 1300 performances, tours at their own charge from Ruse to Haskovo and from Burgas to Parvomay. After the nationalization in 1946 Verdi becomes one of the repertoire pillows. In the Stara Zagora opera the Requiem as well as 13 of the 26 operas of the great maestro were performed with 53 premieres and about 1500 performances (only in Bulgaria) or 17,5% from the total amount of performances. Street.&#8220; This is the history of a small street that is 180 m. long. It is located in the central part of the city, at the Sahat hill. Its historical and architectural image is a story about preferences, tastes, opportunities, social status of its inhabitants in the late XIX and early XX century. The life of the street is a page of the rich Plovdiv history. Tsaribrod Street has its economic, social-political and cultural history, presented by documents and stories, kindly given by the heirs.
