preparation and realization of a competitive game during History class. The methodical development is meant for teachers that are involved with 5th graders and are looking for ways to diversify the learning process for students. The theme has to do with notable events and characters from the age of the Bulgarian National Revival.<\/p>\n Competitive games are one of the main attributes of the interactive educational methods. They not only bring diversity to the learning process, but also allow the students to confirm old knowledge and obtain new skills. These are the main motives that provoke my interest towards didactic games.<\/p>\n The first part of the methodical development consists of presenting the advantages of using game-like methods in history education, clarifying the aims and selecting the desired goal type, social form and the required materials for leading the lesson.<\/p>\n The game commences once the rules, teams and classroom organization have all been clarified.<\/p>\n In the second part of the development is a description of the lesson\u2019s organization and course. This stage also involves giving instructions about each of the three rounds of the competitive game. There are requirements and steps towards the realization of each task.
